Don't take our word for it.... See what some of our customers have to say!

"This is by far the easiest review I have ever written! I have honestly never been more pleased to put money into something, i.e diving. I typically only write negative reviews, it takes an awful lot for me to take the effort to write something positive, but if there were something greater than 5 stars Grove Scuba would deserve it.
In one word Grove Scuba is AMAZING, but because they’re so phenomenal they deserve as many praises as possible. Not only is the store well set up, and consumer friendly, but the website is easy to use and aesthetically pleasing (something other dive shops in Miami appear to lack) and the staff is absolutely top notch. I never felt like they were trying to sell me something I didn’t need, and they come across as genuinely interested in creating the best experience for their (customers/students) as possible.
I completed my open water with Patrick and could not have felt more comfortable, safe, or had a better time in the water. Patrick is extremely skilled. I’ve dived with him several times after completing my certification and continue to be impressed. On a day with terrible conditions where visibility was down to a foot we were able to exit the water within spitting distance of where we went it.
I am so pleased with Grove Scuba that I’m even going on their dive trip to Bonaire, which was incredibly easy to commit to as the made all arrangements besides a plane ticket. I’m additionally pursuing my advanced diving through them and refuse to go anywhere else for my dive needs. I wish everything in life were as easy and fun as diving, but believe I would not have had this experience with any other dive shop. Whether you’re looking to be a discover scuba diver or become a dive master, you can’t go wrong with Grove Scuba."

"I did a lot of research before getting into scuba, since I had already a lot of experience doing free diving and snorkeling. I went to a lot of dive shops and what I drew out from them is that they are very competitive and for this reason you must be careful. Previous dive shops that's I've been to have been have either been pushing for their top of the line(most expensive gear, or overpricing on the gear that they already have while other shops have everything cheaper. I stumbled upon the shops as I was coming out of a girlfriends house, so  decided to go in just to look at some fins.
I was greeted by Sadie. Sadie is an instructor and also works at the shop. She was very helpful and answered a lot of the questions that I had. she told me about a super awesome special that oceanic was having for BC, Reg, Octo, Dive computer and compass. for about 1000 bucks. Now I don't know if you are familiar with dive gear or diving. But its one of the most expensive hobbies one can have and if you are reading this you probably know and agree. A dive computer on their own can run from 600 to 1000 dollars plus. A good BC can be about 900 dollars plus and so on. This package was great and I saved a total of about 600 dollars.
I came to the store looking for fins and I walked out with  my entire pro gear, saving tons of money, this gears lasts many many years and its guaranteed to give you a safe dive every time.. Grove scuba is my permanent dive shop and they will be seeing me soon for accessories."

"Fantastic group of people working! I don't know who all these people are leaving bad reviews. I have nothing but positive things to say about Grove and the people working there!
I'm visiting from LA and wanted to get my scuba diving course done, had no idea where to go so I googled around and found Grove Scuba. I called up and talked to Sadie, she was very helpful and friendly which was a huge relief! My bf had called a few other places in town and everyone was very rude when talking on the phone. Sadie was more then willing to go through the whole process, what to bring, how long it would take, etc.
I arrived in Miami and headed over to Grove. Sadie was there and walked me through all the gear I would need for my classes and really helped me pick out what I needed. They have a pretty small selection (at least from what I was expecting) but I felt like they have exactly what you would need.
Showed up the next morning for our first class and met Frank our instructor. He too was extremely friendly and helpful. We headed out to the lake to do our pool and first open water courses.
Frank was so informative and reassuring. It really made me at ease with my first time diving.
Again, I can't say enough good things about these guys! They really made my first time scuba driving such a great experience!!"
Thanks Grove team!

"I love grove scuba, it is the best scuba shop ever! i have been with them since 2011 nd i couldnt be any happier, the staff is amazing and the service is one of a kind. The store manager Sadie is very professional and will give you the shirt off her back for you. All of the staff will do the best they can to make your experience the best possible."

"I highly recommend this Dive shop for all your recreational diving needs . I decided to do my Rescue Diver certification with Grove Scuba, based on the reviews I read on tripadvisor. I was not disappointed with Instructors, whom genuinely care and guide you through the whole process of getting certified. Matthew and Sadie Gosselin were my instructors and I couldn't be happier with my experience with them. I personally prefer to be corrected and be given constructive criticism, I appreciate the tips given to me when executing the exercises, Josh was a great help playing the victim and giving feedback on performance. I highly recommend this Dive shop."

"I came to grove scuba only intending to complete my Rescue Diver and Dive master certifications, but after i had completed said courses, i felt like part of the team in no time at all, thanks to the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. I had enjoyed myself so much and felt like i had become part of the Grove Scuba team, when they offered me to become the instructor intern and do my PADI instructor course whilst working in-store i had to take them up on their offer. i spent 3 months, working along side their instructors and have seen them all teach in a way that is fun, and easy to grasp, and never failing to train their students to a high standard. The IDC could of potentially been a very boring course with lots of slides and information to take in, even though it is very interesting, it has potential to drag on. Bill the course director and owner of the store made it fun and i managed to complete and pass in a week! which i was more than pleased about!
I feel comfortable in saying that Grove Scuba as a business delivers on all accounts, they pride themselves on their excellent customer service and rightly so, having both been a customer and worked there, i see that they will bend over backwards in order to help out their customers.
I would definately recommend it to any of my friends/family/acquaintances, great places to dive, great service and great people."

"I'm an independent PADI instructor and purchase materials through Grove Scuba. I called Thursday and got the material this morning. I couldn't find an invoice and was about to call when I noticed an email from Sadie, who had emailed me the invoice. As usual, she's a step ahead of me, and I greatly appreciate it."

"I was visiting Miami in mid-February for a conference, and wanted to get in a few days of diving afterwards. I contacted (via email) several of the dive shops in the Miami area prior to my trip. Grove Scuba was the most responsive, and was able to help me put together a plan to achieve my diving objectives.
Sadie & Jose were great in answering my questions and sending me itinerary choices (I wanted to dive in both the Miami area and Key Largo). I ended up booking two days of dives. Jose coordinated everything, including the arrangments for two private dive guides (since I was visiting alone, and did not have a dive buddy) and the dive boat charters (Rainbow Reef Dive Center and Horizon Diver’s, both of which were great).
The two giudes, Alex & Jeff, were also great. They picked me up at my hotel in Miami Beach (precisely on time) to drive out to the dive charters, and returned me to the hotel at the end of the day. Both were very knowledgeable, with Alex in particular taking time to point out various sites underwater.
I rented some gear that I did not bring with me, and it was in good shape (the guides even picked it up from the shop and returned it for me).
Would highly recommend Grove Scuba to anyone planning some diving while in Miami."

"I am new to diving and the area, I called the dive center and Jose answered. We spoke for a while about all the in's and out's of diving and photography. He wasn't trying to "upsell" me he just had fun talking about diving.
He set me up on a dive and I'm back in the water!"

-Chris of South Florida

"We did a two tank dive with Chad at the Dema trader wreck and Neptune Memorial Reef.
Chad was a great guide, pick up at our hotel and drop off was prompt and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Will definitely recommend Grove Scuba and use them next time we are in Miami."
